1 | Plan Ahead

It is highly recommended that we being meeting with you 6 months to 1 year prior to your event date.

It’s never too early to start! Our initial conversation can set the tone for all the other aspects of your event.

Invitation Production Time

While each project varies in design & level of complexity, the typical turnaround for invitations is between 2-8 weeks from our final design approval to delivery. We always do our best to turn your order around quickly and are willing to accommodate special situations with time constraints.

Consultation & Pre-Planning

Whether you are consulting for wedding planning services, working with us on a custom design,

or ordering from our catalog, we do our best to advise you of your delivery date in advance.

Logo Design Services, Business and Personal Stationery

Typical turnaround is between 1-3 weeks from our initial consultation to delivery.

If needed, there are options to expedite your order which may result in a rush charge.

2 | Meeting of the Minds

During our consultation, we work with you one-on-one and offer ideas & suggestions to develop a creative direction based on your personal style. We encourage you to bring swatches & inspiration to help define the design of your invitation. When we reach a general design concept, a price quote is created based on your project and may vary based on the scale and intricacy of your design.

We require a 50% nonrefundable deposit to begin the design, development & proof process.

3 | Digital Design Proof

You can expect to hear from us within 2 weeks of placing your deposit. We will send you an email that includes a digital design proof in a PDF format. From this point we work with you to edit & finalize wording. It is critical to review each detail including the spelling of names, places, times, dates, etc…

and send corrections in writing.

4 | Final Proof

A final digital proof is presented to you via the email address that was provided in the consultation.

Your final approval must be in writing (via email) before production can begin. We cannot accept approval over the phone. Once you have approved the final proof, Pink Tomato will not be responsible for errors or additional changes — so please review each piece carefully!

The remaining balance of your account is due in full to begin ordering paper & start the production process.

5 | Production and Delivery

Depending on the complexity of the design and items in-stock,

the production time from the final approval may take 2 to 8 weeks.

6 | Samples

For Custom invitation samples, you will be able to touch and feel the paper that we will be using in your design during our consultation.

However, if you want a final sample proof prior to production, there will be an $18.00 charge for each proof regardless of size or complexity.

For catalog sample requests, simply visit our online ordering site, find the invitation you'd like a sample of, and click "Request Sample" next to the image. Alternately, we have physical catalogs for some,

but not all items on the website, so please contact us to check.
